Crafting a captivating description is key in attracting customers. Follow these quick tips for an exceptional description: **Show, Don't Tell:** Emphasize the core benefits to your customer. For instance, “Guests can kick back with one of our handmade cocktails next to our lagoon-like outdoor pool”, rather than "Access to hotel pool and bar". **Don't Overdo It:** Save the details like times, dates, costs, contact details and hyperlinks for other sections. Focus instead on selling a captivating visitor experience. **Get to the Point Quickly:** Treat your profile like an elevator pitch. Put essential information (including your business or event name) in the first sentences. Engage your audience and improve SEO performance by using short, simple sentences. **Refine, Refine, Refine:** Take the time to perfect your description. We recommend drafting it outside the Atom platform so you can refine it and gather feedback from someone not affiliated with your business. **Relevant Information at Hand:** Ensure details (ABN, website, contact details, social links) are readily available when preparing your profile. **Update:** Review and update your profile regularly and keep a copy for your own records. ![EDM Image](https://support.atomco.au/hs-fs/hubfs/EDM%20Image.png?width=356&height=178&name=EDM%20Image.png)       ### **What should I leave out of my Description?** To maintain a consistent high standard for all profiles and make the most of the space in your profile, do *not* include the following in your Description: **Information Captured Elsewhere:** Information such as contact details, prices, address, URLs are covered later. **Writing First Person:** Your profile appears on third-party websites, so do not use 'We' or 'Our.
